THE STORY
Golden Girl Restaurants was inspired by my Golden Retriever Girlie, she’s calm, kind and loyal. Her little brother Sunny, our Golden Boy brought the energy back, he's "Filled With Love.”
Together, they gave this place its name, its feel, and its flavour. We named our food after Girlie and Sunny as they represent everything we believe in.
Second Chance Story
I'm Rick Smiciklas, the founder of Golden Girl. I've spent most of my life building businesses, taking risks, and learning a lot along the way.
Golden Girl, started after life knocked me down and I had one more chance to build something again.

We license the trademarks, system, and operating playbook for a flat monthly system access fee of $1,500.
